Rob leads the commercial side of SalusBridge. He has spent his career in HR leadership, running people teams at UK scale-ups and listed businesses including Accenture, Thomson Reuters, Nutmeg, RateSetter and MetroBank. He brings deep expertise in workplace health, absence management and employee wellbeing — and the scars of managing absence cases with nothing but a spreadsheet, documents and goodwill.

That experience, and a network across the HR community that helps shape the product, is why SalusBridge is built for what happens through an absence — connecting every conversation, support step and decision in one place, so people get back to work sooner in a structured, efficient and supportive way. Better for the employee, and better for the employer.

Richard leads the technical side of SalusBridge, from architecture through hands-on build. He has spent more than 15 years building and running software companies: he founded Innovasys, whose developer tools shipped alongside Microsoft Visual Studio, and led it to acquisition in 2021, then built the technology behind a self-service health platform running in over 200 GP surgeries, integrated with NHS clinical systems, exiting the business in 2023.

Most recently he has led the AI-first transformation of a specialist consultancy and built production AI systems with human review and verifiable evidence at their core. At SalusBridge he combines healthcare-grade engineering with AI-first development, backed by two exits across developer tools and healthcare.
